#3 The Bohemian Dream, Catskills Cabin

As others have said, the room has a great vibe especially for couples, with its art and decor - Had a great stay. There was some confusion on Expedia whether this was the Highmount or Shandaken location about 8 miles away: The confirmation email from Expedia said "You're going to Shandaken!", when actually it was the Highmount lodge that I signed up for. Also a little misleading was Expedia's listing of the room as having 1.5 baths (with one description saying 2 bathrooms!) when the room only had one normal (but nice) bathroom - perhaps they meant that it had a bathtub/shower combo. Arriving after dark, it was a little hard to find the entry door to the second floor rooms - maybe having the room numbers on that outer door would help. None of that detracted from having a very enjoyable stay there.

It was very peaceful. Positive: The location is excellent. The no contact check in was easy to do. Owner was very helpful. Very peaceful area. It was very clean and well kept. Negative: The mattress was not comfortable and the bed was making noises even when you move a little bit.

Such an amazing cozy spot! The cleanliness, hospitality, and the attention to detail were noticed immediately. It snowed while I was skiing and was very pleased the driveway was cleared when I went back for a quick lunch/dog walk. Super close and convenient to some cool attractions. Can’t wait to book again!
